Hello! I’m Leanne, a passionate food lover based in Toronto, Canada. I have a background in Culinary Management – Nutrition from George Brown Chef School and Centennial College for Food Media Studies. I also have had the honour of working in various kitchens, interned in corporate menu innovation and am currently a Kitchen Supervior serving up healthy meals in an Organic Community Market.

I started “The Mindful Nomivore” as a means of combining my interests in food writing, food styling, recipe development and food photography.

My take on food is this, it is better to indulge our cravings in moderation and with restraint than to deprive ourselves. The trick is to just be mindful of what we put in our bodies and what vibes we put out into the world. Well, that’s all for now.
